(2022) Transhumanism - The idealization of a perfect paradise and the uncertainty of our own future.

Humanity has always tried to improve and transcend its capacities, but transhumanist ideals are becoming stronger. Humans have created prostheses, neuro links, and their own digital versions. What will be the next step for humanity? The Next Testament starts a new world with new rules. Becoming God is now possible. Our unique appearance is entirely up to us. Everything is changing. We will all be transhumans soon.

The Next Testament idealization is brought to life through short animations with a smooth voice, undefined shapes and avatar faces. These undefined and abstract shapes replace the avatar heads, emphasizing the uncertainty of our future appearance. The projects name and songs were chosen, due to the historical links transhumanism has with religion. Each character of the manifesto was inspired by a real transhumanist and named after one of the seven archangels (those closest to God), the textures applied are related to each content of the manifesto.
