(2020) TH, short for Human Trafficking, is a social campaign that aims to bring awareness on how victims of human trafficking are unconsciously deceived.
Each year, an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 men, women, and children are
trafficked across international borders.
The most used methods in human trafficking aren't kidnapping or violence.
It's persuasion and manipulation since it's easier to transport people with their
"consent". Victims are led to believe they will be given a better life and conditions,
and when they get to their destiny, they find something completely different. Victims
are isolated from everyone they know and are kept hostage by using fear, emotional abuse
and blackmail. Sometimes the trafficker might already have a relationship with the victim
(parent/brother/friend, etc.)
TH, short for Human Trafficking (Tráfico Humano in portuguese) is a social campaign that
aims to bring awareness to how victims of human trafficking are unconsciously deceived.
The tags visually represent how victims are perceived as a product and "marked"
by the traffickers.
